Vyu\u017e\u00edvanie tejto met\u00f3dy zobrazovania znamenalo v medic\u00edne ve\u013ek\u00fd krok vpred a zachr\u00e1nilo mno\u017estvo \u013eudsk\u00fdch \u017eivotov. Ak v\u00e1s \u0161pecialista odporu\u010d\u00ed na PET vy\u0161etrenie \u2013 nie je d\u00f4vod na obavy. Umo\u017e\u0148uje citlivej\u0161ie a presnej\u0161ie zobrazenie men\u0161\u00edch chorobn\u00fdch lo\u017e\u00edsk. Pri CT vy\u0161etren\u00ed je telo vy\u0161etrovan\u00e9ho vystaven\u00e9 r\u00f6ntgenov\u00fdm l\u00fa\u010dom, ktor\u00e9 detailne zobrazia tvary a \u0161trukt\u00faru jednotliv\u00fdch org\u00e1nov. Pre lep\u0161ie vz\u00e1jomn\u00e9 odl\u00ed\u0161enie org\u00e1nov je niekedy potrebn\u00e9 vn\u00fatro\u017eilovo poda\u0165 kontrastn\u00fa l\u00e1tku. Kombinovan\u00e9 PET\/CT vy\u0161etrenie predstavuje jeden z najv\u00fdznamnej\u0161\u00edch diagnostick\u00fdch n\u00e1strojov dne\u0161nej medic\u00edny. PET a PET\/CT sa naj\u010dastej\u0161ie pou\u017e\u00edva v onkologickej diagnostike, pri neurologick\u00fdch a kardiovaskul\u00e1rnych ochoreniach. Je to ve\u013emi \u00fa\u010dinn\u00e1 met\u00f3da na potvrdenie alebo vyl\u00fa\u010denie pr\u00edtomnosti n\u00e1doru, pos\u00fadenie jeho agresivity, odhalenie, \u010di sa n\u00e1dorov\u00e9 ochorenie \u0161\u00edri v organizme. Naj\u010dastej\u0161ie ide o 18-fluorodeoxygluk\u00f3zu. Mno\u017estvo radi\u00e1cie v\u00e1s neohroz\u00ed, prirovn\u00e1va sa mno\u017estve \u017eiarenia z dvoch r\u00f6ntgenov\u00fdch sn\u00edmok hrudn\u00edka. V \u013eudskom tele sa t\u00e1to l\u00e1tka spr\u00e1va rovnako ako gluk\u00f3za, to znamen\u00e1, \u017ee bunky ju dok\u00e1\u017eu prija\u0165 ako zdroj energie. Rakovinov\u00e9 bunky a n\u00e1dory prij\u00edmaj\u00fa omnoho v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ie mno\u017estvo gluk\u00f3zy ako zdrav\u00e9 nezhubn\u00e9 bunky, r\u00e1dioakt\u00edvna l\u00e1tka sa v nich hromad\u00ed a doch\u00e1dza k emitovaniu v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ieho mno\u017estva pozitr\u00f3nov, \u010d\u00edm sa t\u00e1to oblas\u0165 vo v\u00fdslednom obraze v\u00fdrazne odl\u00ed\u0161i.<\/p><p>Vyu\u017eitie m\u00e1 tie\u017e pri diagnostikovan\u00ed ochoren\u00ed srdca, predov\u0161etk\u00fdm jeho z\u00e1sobovan\u00edm krvou. Tak\u00e9to tkaniv\u00e1 spotrebov\u00e1vaj\u00fa gluk\u00f3zu vo v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ej miere ako zdrav\u00e9 tkaniv\u00e1.<\/p><p>V diagnostick\u00fdch centr\u00e1ch s\u00fa naj\u010dastej\u0161ie PET\/CT pr\u00edstroje.
