Unit of Radiation Protection.
This unit falls under the the CEO’s office. It supervises and ensures the compliance with the requirements for protection against effects of the ionising radiation at BIONT facilities and in the surrounding environment. It performs radiation monitoring of persons, work environment, and any releases of radionuclides into the environment.

This department ensures production of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with the Good Production Practices (GPP). The production of radiopharmaceuticals takes place in class-C and class-A clean rooms in shielded cells using state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
